BLACK TRUFFLE & FRENCH BUTTER TOASTIE

WHAT YOU NEED

 

2 x pieces soughdough bread

25-35 gms of Le Conquerant Butter (unsalted)

pinch of salt

black truffle (you decide how much!)

scrambled eggs

WHAT YOU DO

Grab 2 x pieces of quality sough dough bread.
Toast 1 side of each slice under the grill.
Allow to cool.
Use copious amounts of Le Conquerant Beurre de Baratte unsalted butter and spread the inner untoasted sides of both the breads.
Generously cover one side with shaved truffle.
Add a sprinkle of salt.
Squish back together to make a sandwich and cover with foil.
Place in warm oven (180 degrees) for 15 minutes.
Serve with scrambled eggs. (You could add Le Conquerant Camembert instead of salt if you were taking the sandwich up another notch also!) Photo cred: @trufflewineco
